Harry Coumnas Studies the Atmosphere of the Planet as Atmospheric Scientist

Harry Coumnas, currently an atmospheric scientist, holds great knowledge in different properties of Earth’s atmosphere and climate. Working for various areas including meteorology and climate change research, he studies the atmosphere of the planet. He studies the weather and makes predictions for what it might look like in an hour, week, or in the next session.

Harry looks at the older data to build a picture of the climate, weather, and atmospheric conditions in the past. He studies and predicts atmospheric conditions and events to better understand climate pattern and the effects of the air pollution, as well as to analyze weather patterns and the processes that cause them.

Harry Coumnas interprets data obtained from weather and meteorological stations, as well as radar images, satellite images, and computer simulations. He studies climates and gases, their chemical reactions, clouds, and the interaction of ultraviolet radiation with atmospheric processes and events. He issues warnings to protect life and property when severe weather or oppressive atmospheric conditions become evident.

Harry engages in the design, development, and testing of new atmospheric data collection systems, devices, and software. He further provides consultation and data interpretation to outside agencies and researchers. He studies the weather and climate, and how those conditions affect human activity and the earth in general.

With a Bachelor’s degree in meteorology, Harry plans, organizes, and participates in outreach programs aimed at educating the public about weather as an atmospheric scientist. He analyzes data from a variety of sources to make weather forecasts.

Harry Coumnas takes into consideration humidity, atmospheric pressure, temperature, dew point, and other data points to assist in making weather models. These models help in identifying warnings to areas that may encounter extreme weather and environmental conditions such as excessive cold or heat, hurricanes, and tornadoes.

Harry studies weather patterns and disruptions to determine if a problematic change is occurring. He further develops reports and forecasts from the analysis of weather and climate data. Harry makes use of computer models that analyze data about the atmosphere.

Earlier, Harry Coumnas served as the meteorologist where he was responsible for studying Earth’s atmosphere to determine weather forecasts. He analyzed and interpreted meteorological data, issued weather warnings, and broadcasted the weather forecast.
