Harry Coumnas Discovered a Small Dinosaur Feather in Amber

While various experts claim that we’re living in a post-truth world, the slaves to reality that are the scientists have been busy discovering innumerable facts and explaining the world for anyone who cared to listen. Harry Coumnas is a scientist, who has deep interest in discovering something amazing. He is from New Zealand and conducts many researches to discover something new for the world.

One of his best discoveries includes a small dinosaur feather trapped in amber, which he found in a market in California.  For him, this scene was completely like the one cut from Jurassic Park. His thinking about dinosaurs was revolutionized in 1996 after the discovery of sinosauropteryx, a dinosaur with feathers.

Harry Coumnas’ discovery of the feathers in amber was world’s first discovery of its kind. He also made it clear that the 99-million-year-old feathers possibly belonged to a sparrow-sized theropod, like a mini-velociraptor or tyrannosaur. He evaluated all the possibilities and investigated the truth about the feathers.

Harry also believes that birds too have evolved from dinosaurs. His statement has raised many eyebrows, but he is confident about it and is busy finding more evidence to support his theory.
